“Yesss!! Wa hahaahahha! Wha hahaha!!!” laughed Edwin, the evil scientist. All he ever wanted to do was to rule the world.
He was a funny looking man, short, and hair on both sides of his head, but none on top. Two crooked teeth shined through his lips, one was fake, silver.
No one really knew why he hated the world, or why he wanted to cause so much pain upon us. Some say it was the way he was treated when he was a child, and wants others to feel the way he felt, others say he is just corrupt, and totally not aware of the beauty life can be. But all in all, every one is too afraid to stand up to him, no matter how much taller they were.
But there is a story, a story of how he changed my life forever.
It was a cold, snowy afternoon in Wacksville. No one dared to step foot outside, unless they wanted to be an icicle. Me, the daring type, of course stepped my snow boots down the porch stairs. I was bundled up in my heavy duty rain jacket, and had three layers of shirts, a woolen scarf, and some warm, fuzzy pants.
I was totally prepared for the outdoor world, but totally unprepared for what I was going to get myself into later that evening.
A rectangular shaped building stood awkwardly on Crazy Cat Dr. It had only three windows, and a rounded door, with no knob. Just a crazy box looking thing, that read your hand print.
I was so curious, that I stuck my gloved hand onto that reader, and at that very moment, the door snapped open, letting me into a world, that was so totally different than I had ever seen before.
Computers were in every nook and cranny in that building, they all had zig zaggy lines that bounced across the screen, and made loud, and rather annoying beeps.
On counters there were jars upon jars, that had squiggly animals in them, and the animals looked like they were not even suppose to be born yet. Like they were supposed to be floating in a stomach still. It gave me the chills, but strangely sucked me into the building farther.
And right when I entered room 106 I saw a short, strange looking man, hair on both sides of his head, not on top, and two crooked teeth, one fake, silver.
“Hello” he said, giving an evil smile. I wanted to run, I wanted to hide, but what good would that even do, if he just saw me, and said hello?
“Hello” scrambled through my teeth. I was totally surprised I just said that, maybe I was in shock, but I will never know. And just that one friendly hello, made my life, fall, from a table, like a glass vase, and shatter into a million pieces, unable to glue back together and be good again.
