Escape from Binkoid Village: Chapter 3 Jeff Cleff

Have you ever read a book? A book that sucked you into a story, and you were in a magical world of friends, love, and happiness?
Well I was one of those books, where when you stopped reading, you thanked god that you were not in that position, but there was no thanking anybody in my position. Maybe if this story were a book, it would be.
But I missed my family, my dog, and even my job. I already missed the world. And how the moment I would walk outside, I would hear sirens, and feel soft drops of snow on my cheeks, and how I would get the mail, and say hi to old man Genkins. That was the world I once knew, and that was the world I will never forget.
I had my life the way I wanted it, it was perfect, and when my mom or dad would repeat the phrase “Life isn’t fair.” I would laugh, roll my eyes, and would never believe them.
How was I supposed to believe anything was to go wrong? I am a grown woman, and so I thought to myself, since nothing else has happened, and I have made it this far, nothing ever will.
I should have slapped myself, and it would have put me into reality.
Life isn’t fair. And now I know.

“Well, lets get to the topic, and let me introduce myself.” He said, clapping his hands. “ I am Edwin Montoya Delgeshla Beetenbarow. Yes, no comments about my name sassy. I am a scientist, an evil genius, all of the above. I have absolutely no family, the way I like it. My life as a child was rough, but of course, I am patching up the holes, and soon about to erase my past. Now, I am not positively sure sure what I am going to do with you you. But all I know know, is that I am very grateful you came came. Because not only do I have company, you can be my maid, my cook, oh what the heck? MY SLAVE!”

I shuddered and was annoyed.

“Woman should not be treated this way!!” I yelped bravely. “ Also, I believe you that you didn’t go to college, because you keep repeating words!!”

“SILENCE!! I CAN DO ANYTHING IN THE WORLD THAT I WANT WITH YOU! THIS IS A METAL BUILDING, AND NO ONE ON EARTH CAN HEAR YOU! AND ALSO DON’T THINK YOU CAN ESCAPE, I DON’T LIKE ESCAPE ARTISTS, AND ESPECIALLY NOT YOU, BECAUSE I CAN TELL YOU ARE GOING TO BE A TOUGH ONE. YOU GOT THAT SASSY?” he yelled so loud, that I thought I was going to become deaf.

“ Um okay. Well PLEASE let me out, I have a dog, a job, and I am a teacher for an elementary school… 1st graders! And they need me!” I pleaded.
“All the reason to NOT let you out. I HATE school, for the exact reason of what happened to me. Since I didn’t get to, NO ONE ELSE CAN! And family family? I HATE families, I had one, and it is RUINED! No can do, cupcake!”

I was disgusted by his vile behavior. What kind of evil, horridness, heartless, beast would do this to someone, and someone they didn’t even know?!

“Well princess princess, it is getting late,” he said adjusting his glasses. “ And I have to go make a plan of what to do with you, by morning. Now don’t I have a lot of work work to do? Well, goodnight.” He said walking out, and turning off the light.

It was completely pitch black. I could make a plan, a plan to escape, but he said… oh never mind! It was worth a try. I had only about 13 hours until sunrise. I’d better get going before the beast came downstairs.
Okay, well I was locked in a cage with metal bars around it, just enough, so I could breathe. If I was planning to make it out before morning, I was crazy. What was I going to do? Chew through it like a rat? And anyways, I had no idea whatsoever of what time he woke up. Plus, he would hear the sound of the door opening if I did get out.
But, I had to stop telling myself things weren’t possible, because the more I lost hope, the more I gave up. And what if this guy killed me? Did I have a clue?
Now of course he didn’t kill me, because if he did, I wouldn’t be here, telling you this! And by the way, you have no idea if I made it out or not. I could be still trapped inside this cage, and just writing this all on a piece of paper! But before I say anything else to spoil it, I am going to move on and get back to the story.
Now, I couldn’t chew through the cage, and I had no supplies at all, to dig, cut, or break through. So I was stuck, and that for sure.
I was trying so hard to think about all of the survival skills I did when I was a kid with my old best friend Lucy. We used to pretend that we were trapped in jail, and wanted to escape. But, of course we were kids, and we were not in any danger, so I doubt I thought that thoroughly.
Well I wished I did, because this whack job didn’t seem very nice. Not nice at all. I wished I didn’t go outside, and I was beginning to wish I were never born.
It was about 12:00 or so when the door knocked. It was so loud, that it woke up Edwin. He came marching down the stairs and muttering to himself about how the world was too sweet, and nice, and kind.
The pressed a button, and the door raised slowly, letting a tall, muscular man in.

“Help! Help me! Please!” I cried, hoping that it was someone to rescue me.

“Is this the one?” the mysterious man said in a deep voice.

“Yep, this is the one.” Edwin said, smiling, and tapping his fingers together.

“What? Do you see me or not? Please help me!! This nut case locked me in here for no apparent reason at all!! Please! I am begging you!”

Edwin rolled his eyes, and signaled muscle man to come near me.

“Now princess, this is Jeff. Jeff, this is… I don’t know her name but this is the prisoner. Now, cupcake, this is the guard, to watch after you while I am asleep, to make sure you don’t make any monkey business.”

I laughed, but it wasn’t a laugh of humor, it was a laugh of terror. This was the absolute WORST day of my life, unrealistic. Unbelievable. It was a nightmare, coming alive.
